Financial Controller

Adebayo Ademola Lukman is the Financial Controller of Matrix Energy Exploration & Production Company Limited, responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, treasury and cash flow management, financial controls, risk management and regulatory compliance. He provides financial oversight across the Company’s upstream operations, supporting effective cost and capital management and strategic business decision-making.

Lukman has been with the Matrix Group since 2019 and subsequently joined Matrix E&P, where he served as Senior Accounts Officer before transitioning to the role of Financial Controller in 2026. He brings extensive experience across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, treasury, budgeting and business analysis.

He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
